Marie Louise Conilh de Beyssac
Economist and PhD in Psychosociology at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ),  Program EICOS – Psychosociology Communities and Social Ecology.  She is currently a postdoctoral researcher from PNPD\CAPES and associate researcher to the Image Laboratory at Program EICOS\UFRJ where she has been developing research on images of Nature, and digital mobilization on environmental issues by investigating the man-nature relationship.Marie is also a researcher at Governança, Áreas Protegidas e Inclusão Social – GAPIS research group at UFRJ as well as at Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia de Políticas Públicas, Estratégias e Desenvolvimento (INCT-PPED) financed by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq).Some of her recently publishings are chapters in the following books: “The Politics of Participation And Empowerment Current Issues And Practices” (2012); “Fronteiras e Diversidades Culturais no Século XXI – desafios para o reconhecimento no estado global” (2012); “Repenser la nature : dialogue philosophique, Europe, Asie, Amériques” (2012); “Psicología Comunitaria Internacional. Aproximaciones a los problemas sociales contemporáneos. Volumen II” (2012); and a article at the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (2013).She has been board member and RC-26 blog developer since 2010, and she was recently (2012) elected executive secretary at International Sociological Association (ISA) Research Committee on Sociotechnics – Sociological Practice RC26. contact:  rc26@isa-rc26.org
